Mission ECHT Afterschool Enrichment Program

Mission ECHT’s After-school Enrichment Program provides children with a welcoming place to learn, create, explore, and build meaningful connections with the natural world.

Through hands-on projects and engaging activities, students will explore environmental science, oceans and waterways, sustainability, wildlife, gardening, art, innovation, and healthy living. The program will also include homework time, creative activities, outdoor exploration when appropriate, and opportunities to develop teamwork, confidence, and problem-solving skills.

Our goal is to help children understand that their everyday choices can make a positive difference, while giving families a dependable and enriching option after school.

Program at a Glance

The following information reflects Mission ECHT’s proposed program structure. Final details will be provided to families before enrollment is offered.

Grades:Kindergarten through grade 8

Days: Monday through Friday on regular Weston Public Schools school days

Hours: School dismissal until 6:00 PM

Pickup options: 4:30 PM or 6:00 PM

Enrollment options:Four or five scheduled days per week

School calendar:The program is expected to follow the Weston Public Schools calendar. Regular programming will not be offered on school holidays or during school-vacation weeks unless Mission ECHT announces a separate optional program.

Early-release days: Programming is expected to be available on scheduled early-release days for children enrolled on those days. Applicable schedules and fees will be confirmed before enrollment.

Availability:Space will be limited. Program placement will depend on available space, staffing, facility capacity, completion of required documentation, and Mission ECHT’s ability to support each child’s safe and successful participation.

Program dates, hours, location, transportation, tuition, staffing, and other operational details remain subject to final confirmation.

  • Submitting this form does not enroll your child or guarantee placement.

  • Submitting this form does not create a contract or financial obligation.

  • No registration fee or tuition payment is required to submit an interest form or join the interest list.

  • Families will be contacted when the location, schedule, transportation plan, start date, availability, and enrollment process are finalized.

  • If your child is offered a place, you will receive a separate enrollment packet, program policies, tuition agreement, consent forms, and health and emergency-information forms.

  • Program details remain subject to change until the family receives and accepts a formal enrollment offer.
